The Jazz Mandolin Project is a jazz trio from Burlington, Vermont, led by mandolinist Jamie Masefield. The only concrete member of the band is Jamie Masefield, although the group has several musicians who tour regularly. Some of them include: Michael "Mad Dog" Mavridoglou (trumpet and keyboards), Scott Ritchie (bass), Sean Dixon (drums), Mark Guiliana (drums), Michael O'Brien (bass), Dan Weiss (drums), and Jon Fishman (drummer and namesake of jamband Phish). The project has recorded 6 albums to date. They are taper friendly, allowing audience recordings at their shows.
